Windows System Requirements
GLYVIA is designed for Windows desktop computers. Ensure your system meets these requirements:

- Windows 7/8/8.1: No longer supported (security risk)
- Windows 10 32-bit: Not compatible
- macOS / Linux: Not supported (Windows only)
- Mobile Devices: iOS/Android not supported
Apple Device Requirements (Data Source)
GLYVIA analyzes Apple Health data exported from iOS devices:
iOS Device Compatibility
- iPhone: iPhone 6s and later (iOS 14 or newer)
- iPad: All models with Health app support
- Apple Watch: All models (data syncs to iPhone)
Required iOS Features
- Apple Health app installed and functional
- Health data export feature available
- At least some health metrics recorded

- AMD x64: Ryzen, Threadripper, EPYC series
- ARM: Windows on ARM (Qualcomm Snapdragon) – limited testing

- Apple Health Export: export.zip (standard Apple format)
- XML Files: export.xml, export_cda.xml
- File Size: Up to 500 MB (typical: 5-50 MB)
Apple Health Data Types Analyzed
- Glucose levels (blood sugar) - Primary focus
- Glucose sources: CGM devices (Dexcom, Freestyle Libre), finger-stick meters, manual entries
- Supports HbA1c (hemoglobin A1c) values if logged in Apple Health

Firewall Configuration
GLYVIA may require firewall exceptions for:
- Activation Server: activate.glyvia.com (port 443)
- Update Server: updates.glyvia.com (port 443)
If using corporate/school networks, ask IT to whitelist these domains.

Known Compatibility Issues
Windows 7/8 Support
Status: Not supported due to Microsoft ending security updates.
Recommendation: Upgrade to Windows 10/11 for security and compatibility.
Virtual Machines
Status: Partially supported (VMware, VirtualBox, Hyper-V)
Issues: Hardware fingerprinting may behave unexpectedly; license activation may require manual intervention.
Wine/Proton (Linux)
Status: Not officially supported
Community Reports: Some users report success with Wine 8.0+, but activation may fail.
Antivirus Software
Issue: Some antivirus programs flag GLYVIA as suspicious during installation.
Solution: GLYVIA is digitally signed and safe. Add GLYVIA.exe to antivirus exceptions if needed.
