GLYVIA ("we," "our," or "the Software") is a medical-grade Apple Health analytics platform committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data handling practices for the GLYVIA desktop application.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
GLYVIA is designed with privacy-first architecture. We explicitly do NOT collect, store, or transmit:
- Raw Apple Health export data
- Individual health metrics or measurements
- Medical records or clinical information
- Personally identifiable health information (PHI)
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Device location or tracking data
- Cookies or browser tracking mechanisms
3. Information We Collect
GLYVIA collects minimal technical information necessary for software operation:
3.1 License Validation Data
- License Key: Your purchased license identifier
- Hardware Fingerprint: Anonymized device identifier for license binding
- Activation Timestamp: Date and time of license activation
- Software Version: GLYVIA version number
This data is used exclusively for license verification and anti-piracy measures.
3.2 Crash Reports (Optional)
If you opt-in to crash reporting:
- Error logs and stack traces (no health data included)
- System information (OS version, RAM, processor type)
- Anonymized device identifier
Crash reports are optional and can be disabled in Settings.
4. How Your Health Data is Processed
4.1 Local Processing
All Apple Health data processing occurs locally on your device:
- You import your Apple Health export.zip file
- GLYVIA parses the XML data on your machine
- Reports are generated using local algorithms
- Results are stored in local application storage
- No server communication involves your health data
4.2 Data Retention
- Import Files: You can delete the original export.zip after import
- Processed Data: Stored locally in encrypted application database
- Reports: Saved on your device until manually deleted
5. Server Communication
GLYVIA communicates with our servers only for:
- License Activation: One-time verification during installation
- License Validation: Periodic checks to prevent unauthorized use
- Software Updates: Version checks and update downloads (optional)
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- Encryption: Local database encrypted with AES-256
- TLS/SSL: All server communications use encrypted connections
- No Plaintext Storage: Sensitive data is never stored in plain text
- Secure License Storage: License keys are hashed and salted
7. Third-Party Services
GLYVIA does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Payment Processing
License purchases are processed through secure third-party payment gateways:
- Stripe (credit card processing)
- Apple Pay
- Local payment providers (Saudi Arabia: Mada, Tap Payments)
We do not store payment card information. Refer to payment processor privacy policies for their data handling practices.
8. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: Request information about data we hold (license records only)
- Deletion: Request deletion of your license record
- Portability: Export your locally stored reports and data

Only license validation data (no health information) is transmitted to these servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Continued use of GLYVIA after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
